Hi,

While polishing Shapeway's puzzles I got idea to make
Sandpaper Cube. This is 3x3x3 cube but with
sandpaper sheets (P80, 120, 240, 360, 600, 1200)
instead of color stickers. I dyed sheets black and they
look the same. Only one way to find the difference is to
touch them. One the pictures under flash light you see
that sheets have different texture, but under regular
light you find no difference. It is funny to solve cube
by touch. Enjoy!

Great idea. But after a couple of hours of speed-solving practice, you would have no fingerprints left! Although this would be good for you criminal career

I can't help laugh at the irony that you went to the trouble of using sandpaper to make the parts ultra smooth, and then used sandpaper instead of stickers.

The paper you have used is wet and dry. Remember you get better results using it wet! Good luck with that.
But yes, a clever variation of the blind man's cube.
