I made an account sometime ago, with the purpose of transitioning from speedcubing into modding/collecting/solving different twisty puzzles, anyhow I finally have reason to post,

If you can solve the 3x3x2 and 3x3x4, you can pretty much solve any of the 3x3xN puzzles. I would recommend a shape shifting puzzle. 2x2x4 is a good start, but it's not much of a challenge. 2x3x4 is a lot a fun, though!

I've ordered from them before and got my puzzles in less than a week with no damage to the parcel. I live in the US. Does that help?

It is very legitimate. There are no KO's at the store, and my orders always come quickly and without problems.

Yep, Puzzle Master is perfectly legitimate. They are easily one of the largest (in terms of stock and variety) online mechanical puzzle retailers out there at the moment, and also one of the most reliable that I have ever dealt with. The owner (Allan Stein) is also a puzzler and puzzle designer himself, which is always a good thing in my experience.

I was only on that site today. Found some rubbishy looking 1x2x5 cuboids I had never seen before here.
As for choosing a cuboid try here. I recommend Tom's 4x4x6. Best factory produced cuboid ever.

Those "rubbishy looking" 1x2x5's that you've "never seen" before are very similar (actually identical!) to ones on your own Tony Fisher share page of recommended cuboids Tony!!

Yes, now they are. It was while searching for updates that I found them.

BTW I modded one of these "rubbishy" (they are quite poor) puzzles into a proportional one here.

I was wondering about the Golden Eggs on Puzzlemaster, they seem to cheap to be OK, I thought it were KO ?
But as I read here that Puzzlemaster does not sell KO, then they must be OK.

I quite agree with this statement. The Ayi's 4x4x5 and 5x5x4 are not bad either.
From a challenge point of view, I recommend TomZ's 3x4x5. Some have reported poor turning, but after breaking it in, it is quite OK. (Not as nicely turning as the Shapeways original, though.)

Yes they are legit. A few colours are still available. I haven't checked but there might even be some left on Mefferts also.

I bought the coloured Mefferts Golden Eggs from Puzzlemaster.ca and I they are 100% the genuine item, not KO. One of the last places I found selling them.

Service and shipping from Puzzlemaster.ca was exceptional (to the UK it took only 4-5 days).

If you suspect something is KO please check with the moderators first.
These are in his Meffert section so I really doubt they are not authentic. I've met Alan (the owner) at IPP and he didn't strike me as the type to engage in such a deception.
As for price I would guess he perhaps bought a few too many and they aren't selling so fast. It isn't uncommon for people to discount items that aren't moving (look to the lower right for discounts in Sandy's store).

Just to add my two cents. If Allen does have KO's it would definately be an accident. He is not the type of guy to do that. It's a great site. I've gotten many puzzles from him.

Thanks for the responses! As it happens, there is a mf8 2x3x4 on there, which I ordered alongside my green golden egg and pillowed Dino cube. Can't wait!
