You have got to go to the webpage to see it in all its glory. If you get stuck, go read the comments on the forum.

I extracted all of the tiles for the whole graphic. There are some real gems in there. This must have been so much work to make.

Yeah, click and drag the big image. It's a terrible way to view it imo. I'll never get to see it all in it's current form and something that took that much time to be made should be seen. I hope someone makes a google maps like interface.

Edit: I didn't want to re-post any content hosted by XKCD, only link to it. Since others have already ignored the copyright issue, go here instead: http://www.mrphlip.com/xkcd1110/

Edit: post removed due to people complaining of performance issues. If you browser was lagging it means you need more RAM.

Okay I can't post the rest for 2 reasons. First, there is a post character limit of 60000 and the other quadrants exceed this limit. Second, displaying all of those images will cause most people's machine to run out of memory.

Perhaps a link to a site with the whole thing would be more helpful? (And also it might make it so that people can actually load this forum page ) http://www.mrphlip.com/xkcd1110/

When images are decompressed they take up a huge amount of memory.

Wow, that is one BIIIIG cartoon - I've only just finished exploring it all, which very quickly became an obsession. I would have loved to live in the age of world exploration. Now it seems a shame that we know the world as well as we do.

No no, it loads fine, It was just a bit of hyperbole I did have quite a bit of fun exploring this comic this morning, although I didn't realise the tower was meant to be the Burj Kalifa until it zoomed out. Just a thought though, is that to scale?
