Here's a puzzle I designed and printed a while ago but never got around to posting about:




There's three (pretty silly) reasons for the name:
- Ozonic sounds like Ozone, which sort of has to do with air, which this puzzle has a lot of
- It corresponds with my last name
- It sounds really cool

I was never really sure how I would color it, I did design and cut stickers but never could get all the little circles out nor get them to stick.

Well, my original print is sold, but you want one, it's on Shapeways (it has no markup).

I think that "artistic" was absolutely the right word. It looks great!

Had a chance to handle this puzzle last year at Nationals. It's hard to get over how lightweight it is and it's just as beautiful in person.

This is very bizarre and cool! How is it held together? I see the bar thing, but I'm still confused.

It should be ILLEGAL to present a puzzle like this without telling its weight.
Therefore: What is its weight? And its edge length?

Sorry, I sold mine, so I can't weigh it, and can't easily figure out the edge length, but I can tell you it was very light. I just remembered this design was inspired by those 1x2x3's that were just the edges, those are cool.


There's three kinds of pieces: four corners, four "center halves", and the pin. Two center halves fit around each end of the pin (and should be glued together) while the corners slide into them from the outside.
