Hi guys, long time no see.

I recently rekindled an interest in the hobby; (who hasn't ever gotten out for a while...) I'm working on blindsolving, and I just bought a Teraminx!

So I took my Rubik's magic to school, and I was showing it around, and my friend Julia didn't know the fragility of fishing line. Picks it up, snap snap snap, it dies in a pile of tiles, paper, and nylon string. I brought it home, made some new strings for it out of fishing line, and while I was at it, decided to replace the rings with something a little more interesting. And just in case you are wondering, Rubik's magic = worlds largest pain in the butt to assemble. Took me over 2 hours, more than a V-7. The strings were made via this youtube tutorial, and they work great.

The side with 3 seperate rings was replaced with one of the most iconic album covers of all time, and the 3 crossed rings were replaced with the artwork of my sister, Rachel. She has a psychadelic style, you can see her work here and buy prints and originals here. It is a tribute to one of my favorite musicians ever, Syd Barrett. Rachel drew the picture using copic markers, and I have a large print of it in my room. We both signed it at the top left square.

I hope you like it!

PS: If this is in the wrong section (non-twisty), mods can move it. Thanks!
