Copter 3x3 is listed as $75 but on Shapeways it is $165 (I had to check as it seemed too good to be true!!)

Defti really sell for $926 in May 2012, after its mass production had been announced?
By the time the museum was created there were almost no puzzles publicly available, except the ones of Mefferts and a few others.
Therefore "original price" was to contain the price a buyer had to pay in the eighties when most of the puzzles in the museum surfaced.
"Current price" contains an average value generated from the list of "Price Tracking Data" which was intended to collect prices from Ebay-sales, private deals, flea markets, etc.
Nobody ever thought about the case where a puzzle was first available through shapeways and later massproduced, like the Defti.
Nobody thought about the case where a puzzle was massproduced, then became a highly sought after item, then became massproduced and rare again, like the Dogic.
Maybe "Current price" should be renamed into "Price in private deals" to make clear.
But this can be done only by Sandy.
