I am the maker of this puzzle, and to be best of my knowledge you cannot buy a black version of the Hanayama puzzle. I took mine apart and cut it to make the proportional one shown in the thread. If you are not into modding at all, you could remove the stickers from a standard puzzle and try dyeing it black without disassembling it, but I wouldn't advise it. This is because you need to use acetone, which "melts" the surface of the plastic, in order for the dye to take. This melting would probably fuse the parts of the unassembled puzzle together

This is really a quite simple mod, the hardest part is taking the puzzle apart! Good luck.
