Hi all

Just wondering what's the best and/or easiest method for lubing the helicopter dodec. Is there a standard way to do it well? Will I need to pull it apart to get it done properly? Thanks for any advice.

I lubricated mine by turning the edges 90 degrees and applying lubix directly to the exposed surfaces. I did one edge on each face and then worked it in by scrambling the puzzle without jumbling. I haven't played with mine for a few months, so I just picked it up and it still turns great.

This is exactly what I did. It made a huge difference in the functionality of the puzzle. I can turn an edge with my thumb, using the same light touch I would use to turn the upper layer on a cube; out of the box it took all my strength and a vice-like grip. No need to disassemble the Helicopter Dodecahedron (and I think it is very difficult anyway).
