I reassembled it almost completely but I am missing a piece and I have checked everywhere I can think to look. Is it possible to find replacement pieces? The worst part is that this is in milk yellow.

First make sure it is not inside the puzzle. Next, use a flashlight. Turn off all the lights and sweep the floor with the flashlight. This will help to focus your search on smaller areas at a time. Also, unless the sticker is face down, it will provide a reflective surface. If you still cannot find it keep one thing in mind, lost items are often found when you're not looking for them.

Sometimes it helps to ask someone else to have a look, another person can have another way of searching. My sister once searched for over an hour for her wallet and couldn't find it, I had a go and found it in 5 minutes.

The piece could have ended up inside of another one. That scared me to death when I was assembling my Compound Cubes.

This is why you should always have two of every puzzle. One to play with and one to us for parts or collect dust.

Whereas 2 puzzles with numerous lost or broken parts = 1 puzzle (usually). As for the lost Teraminx piece I would advise casting another.

It depends what piece is missing. I once received a SS 6x6 with missing pieces of the innards. Not kidding. Seller offered to send me the pieces but by then it would be mid September. No way.
I got a refund, and I got milliput and made the pieces myself. These were not too difficult pieces, but if they are I suggest casting indeed.
