Hello everyone! I would like to proudly present to you all my new puzzle; the 7x7x7 Imperial Hexagonal Dipyramid.

This puzzle has taken me a long time to make (the longest i've ever spent on one puzzle in one go), I started the puzzle at the very end of May this year and finished it in August. The most time consuming part of the build was cutting the stickers as I did it all by hand. Needless to say it had me tearing my hair out at some points purely because it was such a long a drawn out process.





Although the last stage of its creation was very time consuming, the puzzle was very easy to make and creating the body only took a week or so. I usually lose interest in sanding after a short time, however with this puzzle it was very enjoyable to sand away to achieve as perfect of a finish as possible.

I would love to be able to make something like that but don't have the first clue how to go about it. Unfortunately I don't have time to learn and do it!

I just collect and solve so have to satisfy myself with that.

Very good work. I like how the plastic is not as reflective as it is on most puzzles. Can we see a picture of it standing a bit more upright?

Yes you would think it was a complex build, but really, the hardest part was making the stickers. Making the body was simply a case of firing up the dremel and carving away; something I was very hesitant to do at first

The checkerboard pattern looks insane: I assume you didn't carve it in that form.

Look really good! I really like higher order HD puzzles, I've thought about building a 4x4 since the mass produced version is really bad.

The stickering is... Fantastic.
The amount of work you put into this really showed.
