Today I start with not a really new one.
Ola has made this with rounded cuts years ago and gave it the name Dual Layer Icosahedron DLI.

All others will be new.

I was actually thinking about a Professor Icosahedron just this afternoon! How strange!

I suppose this is crafted from a gigaminx? Or did you have it printed?

When you solve it, don't make the mistake of thinking of it like what it is: a gigaminx shapemod. If you do that you will end up with difficulties pairing up the tips, which are the centers on the gigaminx. At least you will need a lot of unnecessary moves and thinking.
Instead pair the edges of this one, which would be like pairing up center edges and edges on a gigaminx. Then pair up the centers of this puzzle. That would be like pairing the corners on a gigaminx.
By solving it this way, it will be much easier.

If you don't believe me, try to solve a 5x5x5 rubik's cube by paring up corners first. It will get crazy for the last two corners if you aren't lucky.

Nice, as always. And I'm at 99% sure I know, what are the other puzzles, and if it's ehat I think, I definetly can't wait to see them .

This is Gelatinbrain's 2.2.17 puzzle which was one of the first puzzles where constructing [3,1] commutators really "clicked" for me. I solved it using a "cage method" where I formed all of the outer parts (the edges, edge wings, and vertices) and then 3-cycled all of the inner parts using [3,1] commutators. It took a long time and was very inefficient but it brings back a certain amount of nostalgia
