We have been prepared these two puzzles for more than half year. The SQ1 are with traditional mechanism design ; while SQ2 is using the new ball core design, which turns smooth. To honor Dave as the 1st SQ2 creator, we have changed the lablel "Square 2" as "Square 2 DLitwin" with the Dave's consent. As most of puzzle friends prefer black and white, we shall have the traditional black and white bodies. The packagings are divided into small clear box and large display box. We are currently talking to our worldwide business partners about the pre-wholesales orders. If anyone in the puzzles business and interested to be our oversea partners, feel free to contact me at calvinfan@hknowstore.com . We would like most of our partners made their pre-wholesales orders and have the cubes in stock first. Then, we set a lucky date to officially release it to the market. Hopefully this will convince me to finally learn to solve both puzzles.
Will the Square-1's price be similar to the mf8 and cubetwist versions?

I've made a habit of not claiming this design as "mine" (search for "Square-2" with author DLitwin for a number of examples and reasons) but it was quite nice of Calvin to ask and give me credit as the first builder. I'm glad to see this in production again, nice job Calvin Dave

This is great news! I have a square 1 and super square 1 and can solve them with some effort but I find that they both tend to catch and then the latter explodes!!! I deliberately didn't buy the square 2 because I was completely fed up with spending hours reassembling the damn super square 1. I hope the new ball core will make this a smoother and less accident prone puzzle.

As quite a lot of cubers found it difficult to learn normal SQ1, we shall have an elementary 2 color (black & white ) version.

I received my SQ1 & DLitwin SQ2 today. There was an extra set of stickers in the bottom of the SQ1 box so check for this bonus. After a bit of turning and a small daub of silicone oil lubricant they turn beautifully. I'm delighted with these Calvin's puzzles and look forward to mastering them. I am a rank beginner here, but I found some good notes and managed to solve the SQ1. Asked purely for curiosity... what's with the "upside down" (yellow on top) colour scheme?
