Could it be just a ball, when you unscramble it?

Or an ovoid perhaps?

EDIT: Just came to an interesting realization. Whether or not any of our guesses are right, these "Guess the puzzle" threads get people to throw out creative new puzzle ideas that have never been attempted before, and often aren't that difficult to execute. Every puzzle that's been mentioned in this thread could be made with simple 3d printed extensions.

Also, I agree with Fredrik's idea. I think it's 2 3x3x2 ellipsoids which intersect with each other, based on a 3x3x4. (And if it's not, I should really boot up the Makerbot ;) )

Didn't know the word "ovoid" until just now, but I agree. Either that or some kind of an ellipsoid, but it does look pretty irregular.

As for the puzzle it's based on... 3x3x4? It looks like some sort of cuboid in the very least.

Yes, 3x3x3 cuboid 8-)

Is it a 3x3x3 bump cube transformed into a ball?

To me, it looks like two fused balls/ovoids/ellipsoids, one red and one white.

Looks great. Two spheres is tricky to guess. The 3D printer you used there looks really high resolution compared to most DIY FDM printers. The print is quite clean looking.

The name is Compound-2-Balls.

I am working on a Billard-set for Carambolage aka. Compound-3-Balls.

I have no idea what that word means and if I Google image it I get some pretty bizarre photos.

Here's a link to a Wiki page for Carom Billiards:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carambola_billiards

It looks to be a 3 ball billiards variation. Well, I've learnt something new today anyway.
