I designed and printed this puzzle about a year ago but finaly painted it gold to finish it up.

Mike's Mixup is on the inside a Mixup Octahedron. On the outside however it is pure chaos. Each piece is one of a kind making Mike's Mixup solvable just by shape. When solved all 50 pieces perfectly align to form an icosahedron. As an added challenge for buying the puzzle as a DIY kit, Mike's Mixup acts like a 3D assembly/jigsaw puzzle. 2 puzzles in 1!

Hi Mike,

This is truely a tough challenge, especially with that twist in the face. It reminds me of one of those jigsaw puzzles with spilled jelly beans as the picture. I like the $10 coupon for solving it, that's a fun idea. As it stands, for the challenge, it's a bargain puzzle. I like how on the Mixup Octahedron (and this) they are like a Super Mixup because the `traditional Mixup centres` have orientation. Do you have another one so we can see what it looks like stickered? (There goes a lot of the challenge though right?)

I have the parts to make two more. Currently I’m figuring out stickers for two other new puzzles so I’ll try to include a set for this puzzle too. But that still leaves one puzzle left. To keep each one unique how should I color that one?

You could do some sort of 2 colour black and white version.. there are a few different patterns, I like the `1/2 black, 1/2 white, shark tooth` one. That could be cool.
