So, I reached into my backpack a few minutes ago to use my laptop and I noticed a yellow sticker was attached to it. I started digging through and, sure enough, my 7x7 which I've had for over 3 years was missing a sticker. Upon further inspection I noticed it was missing the stickers to several other pieces. Luckily, I found them all and reattached them to the puzzle. My 6x6 was in the bag as well, but it has Cubesmith vinyl and doesn't seem to be affected.
I've probably done 300+ solves on my 7x7 since I got it back in 2009 and very rarely I've seen one or two stickers fall off, but never like this. We're having a pretty big heat wave up here in Massachusetts, and it's definitely the hottest it's been this year (104 with the heat index). Is it reasonable to say this is because of the temperature? Any of you guys in climates that are hot all year round experience something like this before?

edit: I’m pretty sure what I said before is wrong. After doing a bit of research it appears people use heat to remove stickers so this would make sense.

HOT HOT HOT! And Mozhi, cs, qj, ds....all their stickers are bubbled and lifting up. I have a feeling that the heat most definitely has something to do with that problem. Or it could be the humidity. I'm sure sweaty walls and 90+ daily % has something to do with it....
