(These notes assume that every face has a unique color.)
Octahedron (has been done) Features: All pieces need to be correctly placed and oriented, except for corners (octahedron face centers), which do not need to be oriented.
Rhombic Dodecahedron Features: The mixup-squares in this puzzle are the opposite of the regular cube in terms of orientation - instead of 6 directionless and 12 directed, there are 12 directionless and 6 directed. Also, 12 sets of 2 plus-wedges instead of six sets of four.
Rhombicuboctahedron Features: No mixup squares have to be oriented. All plus-wedges are unique and directed. Puzzle is doctrinaire. Comment: IMO the Mixup Plus is perfect for this shape - and not many mechanisms can say that!
Deltoidal Icositetrahedron Features: All pieces are unique and need to be oriented. All mixup pieces have four colors, and all plus-wedges have two. Puzzle could be made doctrinaire (I think?). Comment: This is the dual of the rhombicuboctahedron, so it also fits the mechanism perfectly.
Tetrahedron Features: Ooh, kinky.

Can you be more elaborative? You are talking about shape variants of the "3x3x3 Mixup Plus", right? Can you present an image or a link to the already implemented octahedron?

[offtopic]On the museum listing of the mixup octahedron, as it is just a shapemod of the mixup cube I'm very sure the middle layers can't turn by 30 but 45 degrees.[/offtopic]
Also I'd guess Jared hasn't made the puzzles, just exploring the solving aspect. Apologies if I'm wrong though.

LOL, of course I haven't made any of these. Just talking about solving and hoping someone else finds the ideas interesting.

Does anyone know for sure or can anyone contact Mike (Puzzlemaster6262) for information? Fredrik
