This is quite an easy puzzle really once you have gotten your head around it! It is JUST a 3x3 cube which has been morphed into a pyramid. The dual colour triangular areas are the centres (being dual colour they have an orientation so are effectively a supercube). The parallelograms are the edge pieces and the triangles (single or triples) are the corners. It is possible to have a single corner orientated wrong unlike a normal cube because the single colour triangle corners can be rotated without changing anything.
Once you have your head around this it is pretty easy. I can do mine in about 3-4 minutes now.
Hope this helps!

I think he was talking about building it as opposed to solving it.
KozehCubes, as I don't hand build puzzles, I can't help you much. But both the pillowed and the flat sided version have been mass produced.

How exactly? It has the cube and the tetrahedron overlapped to show what to truncate and what to extend. Maybe I'll leave this to those who have actually done it...

This website (registration required to view content) has an extremely good tutorial on how to build the Mastermorphix. The website itself is in Korean, but the guide has a lot of pictures, showing you exactly the most efficient way to build this puzzle. Coaster's picture shows how the cube sits inside the tetrahedron but it does not show the most efficient relative scale - the guide I linked to show exactly how you can "easily" use existing pieces to build up the others.

When I tried to view the page Tom linked, Chrome warned me of possible malware threat in that page. Anyone else have the same?

KozehCubes wrote: what i need is a video of extending the other pieces, im sorry but I mostly learn visually its hard for me to follow text... You will have to go through a learning curve like everyone else. Although there are some variants for which tutorial videos exists in most cases you will have to use images, text, or nothing (when you want to create something new) as guide. Here comes the more productive comment: You already learned that you have to start with a Half-Truncated Cube: http://www.twistypuzzles.com/cgi-bin/pu ... i?pkey=862Therefore I advise you to build exactly that. Compare it with the image Coaster1235 posted and (hopefully) you will see what pieces you have to extend. Andreas

Hi KozehCubes, I have a few construction pictures too that might help you. 1. Marking out a half truncated cube. 2. Half truncated, sitting on a cut face. 3. The extensions needed, for all 6 of the uncut faces. 4. The skeletal frame, before the outer plastic sheet is added. Attachment:
