Hi everyone,

It's my first puzzle post here so I thought I'd start with a puzzle I made recently,
I'm usually always working on some kind of puzzle in my spare time, and particularly like using plastic sheet.

This one was made by building out around a Skewb with 1mm plastic sheet, when it was finished I changed my mind about the stickers, and made myself lots of extra work by drawing some cutouts on them, all done by hand from vinyl sheets.

The pharaohs cartouche on each side reads Snefru, builder of the very first smooth sided pyramid on the planet.
The hieroglyphs of the sedge plant and bee at the top read, King of upper & lower Egypt.
Many thanks :)

Beautiful.

Did you choose the angle of the pyramid according to the first smooth sided pyramid?
What does it weigh?

Dangit! You beet me to it! I have been wanting to make a pyramid out of a skewb for a while. But this looks quite beautiful. Nicely done! I'm looking forward to seeing more of those puzzles you say you're working on! :)

Thankyou everyone.

Andreas, its base edge length is 130mm and it weighs 220g.
Its a much steeper angle than Snefrus first straight sided pyramid :)

SunnWinder: Great that you are member of this forum now. We can see your great designs directly.

With the pyramide you beat me some hours. The masters were printed and ready for casting. Great job, great stickers set.

Haha, no this is not his first modification, just the first one that he has posted on here :)

SunnWinder has made some awesome puzzles in the past and I have had the pleasure of speaking to him on YouTube and RubiksMaster Forums.
I love the finish that he gets on his puzzles I have never seen so many 'clean' builds from one person.

This is no exception and it looks great. The intricacy in the stickers is amazing, I think my schools vinyl cutter would have had a hard time doing them that cleanly.

Congratulations and welcome to TP Forum SunnWinder
Robert

Great work SunnWinder, really polished work.

I love the pictures on a black background but do Andreas a favor and take one or two on a white back ground for easier processing!
