I don't know if this puzzle would be considered "new" as I designed and prototyped it in late 2009, but I never finished it up and published it...

Version 1 turned like a 3x3x6, but not also as a 3x3x3. (oops!) Version 2 turned like both a 3x3x6 and 3x3x3. The split centers can pop out if you try to speed solve the puzzle, but other than that, it holds together and turns quite well. I dyed the parts for the Version 1 prototype to give it some color, and to try out something a bit different.

Version 2 is for sale in my Shapeways shop. Screws and springs are needed for a finished puzzle.
