If you look at the mold lines on the pentagonal corners, they aren't split into 5 separate parts. So, I'm guessing they're releasing it in black. This is going to be a must-have for me when it comes out, especially if it is in black. It looks like a beautiful addition to any collection and it would complete my set of face-turning platonic solids.

Scrambled! (Without jumbling) And now, I'm going to to take it apart, reassemble it, and start figuring out algorithms. I really want to be able to solve it. Perhaps Brandon or Alaskajoe (or someone else) can put up some hints? -Eitan

Perhaps Brandon or Alaskajoe (or someone else) can put up some hints? I made a VIDEO discussing how I'd suggest solving this puzzle physically. I suggest starting with the corners (the 5-fold symmetrical pieces) because once they are solved it's easy to see the color of each face. When they aren't solved the puzzle is visually chaotic. The solve order I suggest in the video is much more efficient than how I solved the puzzle various FTIs the first time. This puzzle is a bit easier than a shallow-cut FTI because it doesn't have edges. If the video colors are all messed up I don't know why. The thumbnail color is correct. I may re-upload the file in hopes that it works better the second time.

Funny you should say that... all YouTube videos on one of my Linux computers have blue and red switched (except in the thumbnails) for some reason. On my other computer, though, the colors look fine (including your video). Congratulations, Eitan, on the mass production. Your puzzle looks excellent, especially with the stickers on it. It still remains a dream of mine to have one of my own puzzles mass-produced. Chandler

Wow, Brandon. I love how this community has the tone of "ask and you shall receive." You're like the Oskar of solving videos. You know, how whenever someone asks Oskar, "Have you done ____ yet?" and Oskar posts it in the next 5 minutes.
I'll definitely be using this as a guide. Thanks!

I just watched the video from Brandon and already read your comment. I can't add anything to his tutorial. Also I feel like mentioning that I haven't postet in the gelatinbrain solution topic in a looong time and never explained myself. I am simply doing different things at the time. But yeah, just thanks for asking me personally for hints.

Hah, I just saw your name on the scoreboard of people who had solved it, so I thought I might include you on the list.
Thanks again, Brandon. As soon as I turn in my final report for my final project on Monday, I will start solving this beast. (It's looking surprisingly less beastly than before, thanks to your video.)
