I started with CAD design some weeks ago. I got the inspiration by Gus and his Hexminx. But in the first batch I only made extensions for existing cubes. Here they are. You can watch the turning video of them all at youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pvFxIMtSXP4Attachment:

I hope not, it's nice to be enslaved in a dungeon doing what you love We just got to a point where I'm strating to design more than just cuboïds for Claus, so it's getting really interesting ! Good choice of puzzles Claus !

I like your version of the Arch Cubes! CAD is something I had in mind when making the prototype by hand, just thought that with the arches it would be the best way to get the perfect finish.
Also, glad you implemented the centre rotation!
Well done!
P.S, i'd be interested in getting a shapeways printed version of the puzzle for myself, so please get in touch.

Thanks for all your comments.
Gus I need Greg in future.
Greg refused unwaveringly to work 24 hours a day and 7 days a week. But I have a lot of my todo-list. Therefore I have to make the simple things by myself. And Greg is the man for the very complicated designs.

Looking at all these puzzles makes me reeling in awe ! Such amazing creations. Here's a big question : Is it hard to learn CAD ? It's true the saying : If you can't buy them, create them !

Learning the mechanics of using a CAD program is relatively easy. Being creative and inventive to conceive and design a new puzzle is the hard bit!

I really like the 2 bandaged cubes, with the arc in it! Thats a really cool idea.

Love everything you show on here ! The mechanisms list help me to appreciate on how to be creative. Now, I could just dream of being able to create something like you did. Thanks.
