I'm actually very tempted to order one just to see what happens. Some of the prices seem very normal while others (such as the teraminx and the dayan gem) seem too low to believe.

I know the axiom is "if it seems too good to be true, it usually is" but I've taken a punt on a couple of items. I'll post when (if?) I get them.

Yeah, this seems way too good to be true. If it actually works, I'm buying 6 of those teraminxs no doubt. To be honest, I have my doubts high because I once ordered from a place that was selling V-cube 7 dazzlers for $20. When I saw it, I had my dad order 5 for me. But, in the end, it turned out that we never got them. We kept emailing them but they didn't respond clearly. They just said that they were supposably "waiting" for a new shipment, and after 2 months, still no cubes. Finally, my dad just decided to cancel the order. At least he got his money back.

Gus wrote: If this thread was a chu-chu train, then Gus has successfully derailed it! Just look at the name of the website, PetaMix!!! This is clearly some hack-job rushing to get quick buck. All of the people on this thread rushing to get cheap puzzles are throwing your money to the scammer, and he/she is probably laughing it up watching the dough roll in. n a few days, the website will be gone, paypal account deactivated, and they will open up a new shop with a new paypal account and start all over. BTW, I was a website claiming to sell refurbished Wiis for $20 bucks back in 2007 (when the Wii first launched, they were perpetually sold out across the entire country for over a year) and PS3's for like $35, and I just laughed! I bookmarked the site to see how long it lasted, and a week later the url was gone. And the gaming forum that I frequented had new ads (served by Google) for a new website, which were obviously run by the same guys. Please don't feed the scammers! EDIT: Well, after looking at the site, they definitely have a clean looking website. But bear in mind that even if they are a legitimate business, unless they can actually procure the said puzzles at a reduced price, you likely won't be getting any. A lot of these "China Wholesalers" are selling knockoff and/or rubbish quality products, so please bear that in mind.

http://www.petamix.com/7layer-color-ter ... -4925.htmlDo you think it might be possible that these are closeout deals? Like if C4U couldn't sell out their warehouse full of multicolor teraminxes, then maybe they sell off the overstock at well below what it cost to produce, and closeout sites will mark it up and resell it, often far below wholesale. A lot of the so-called "dollar" stores here in the US sell a lot of closeout items for cheap that just didn't sell elsewhere.

Of all the Teraminxes made this specific version is probably the least popular, same with the multi-color DaYan Gem. So I can believe that this may just be a closeout dumping of old inventory.
Too bad their Bucky Balls don't have free shipping for some reason.

*fingers crossed* maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised when the product shows up at our doors. Is it just me or have they added some new non-twisty puzzles? I don't remember seeing some of them when I bought my stuff?

For those that ordered, be sure to file a dispute with Paypal (or your credit card company) prior to 45 days. Otherwise you're SOL.

Hi guys, has anyone received anything from their orders to Petamix? I haven't, and my order still has the status of "Processing". I have sent several emails and web inquiries to them, but have not received any sort of reply My order was placed on 27/2, so I will have to start a PayPal dispute before 12/4 to be within the 45 day limit.

I opened a paypal dispute last Thursday as it had been three weeks since i ordered and my status still said "processing" Within a day or two of opening my status changed to "pending" so i have held off from escalating the dispute to a claim to see if the puzzles get sent, but now that i hear your order is still in processing i assume the change in status is just a ploy of theirs to keep our money for a little bit longer. I have received no acknowledgement of my dispute from them through paypal so i guess it's time to escalate to a claim. Disappointing but i guess the offers really were "too good to be true!"

Just opened a Paypal dispute to stop the clock, and after seeing the other entries in this forum, I have upgraded it to a claim.
I made the order ~1 month ago, status still processing and no response to requests or emails. Just like everyone else I guess.

I received a refund from paypal today, there was no response from petamix during the dispute or claim period. My advice to anyone who bought from here is to open a dispute and escalate to a claim immediately if you haven't already done so.

I looked through the website and it sure seems like a legit site. That doesn't mean that they aren't scamming people out of money and will continue to do so, but they went through a lot of trouble to make a nice website. Too bad, they really have some incredible deals on puzzles. But I guess you can do that if you aren't actually planning on selling any puzzles at all. Maybe when they throw a few V-7s on there for $5 bucks, someone will investigate. Sad thing is, most people probably would lose their money and not even remember it. I could easily order $20 worth of stuff and forget all about it. I've received things in the mail I completely forgot about. Come to think of it, I wonder how much stuff I've ordered and never received? Time to check my paypal statements!
