Here is my new mod, i know it's an old mod but i'm not sure if anyone has ever made it the same way - hence the "Lazyman's" in the title.

I used the edge pieces from one puzzle (what's the name of it?) and the corners from the large 3x3 (they needed to be cut to allow the smaller 3x3 corners to fit inside them.

Nice method. A little expensive, but ok :)

Well, maybe a bit destructive
But as I have absolutely no idea how people make the intricate parts of their mods (like feet!) with any degree of accuracy I am prepared to sacrifice some puzzles to the cause!!

Edited for 'i' capitalisation!

It looks awesome! Where did you get that giant 3x3? And also, why does it look like a 2x3x3 in the first picture?

I got it here - it looks like a 2x3x3 because I already had the corners taken off before I remembered to take a picture - I didn't think anyone would notice, should have known better!

Does anyone know the name of the 4x4 mod that is similar to this one? I know I saw one somewhere but I can't find it anywhere now - not the regular overlapping cube - a 4x4 with the 2x2 centres exposed and large corners - name or link would be appreciated!
