Are those the real 3x3x3 Edges? Or did you create new ones to sit inbetween those corners? The latter would be amazing! Lige Greg I cant wait to see a video!

I believe this is made by rounding the edges and expanding the corners. The edges you see here, I assume, are floating edges alike in the original Brillic/PC puzzle. If you disassemble a Brilic/PC you see a megaminx with expanded corners and rounded edges with floating deep-cut parts.

Personally I doubt the edges are floating. There is no point seeing as the floating pieces would do the same job as the hidden edges. I also believe that people may think they're floating due to the cuts of the corners, but the cuts can change on the inside. Personally I think there is a bit of truncating and extending involved, but the edges you see now are the normal 3x3x3 edges.
