I like brand-new concepts better than already made puzzles. That being said, there are still tons of customs I want. - Master Pyraminx! Come on, it's such a glaring hole in any tetrahedron lineup. I think it has a good chance of being produced by Mefferts, though. - Pentultimate! It's been so long, but MF8 may be ready to release it soon. - Master Pentultimate! Why not, eh? - VeryPuzzle seems to be getting into Tuttminx variations... why not a Futtminx? - And... okay, this will never happen... a Chopasaurus! Rawr!

My list hasn't changed much since last year. Still waiting for the Master Tetrahedron and the Master Pyraminx, two of my favorite puzzles. I can't remember why Meffert's never ended up producing the Master Pyraminx, but we were so close!
Also, considering the addition of the Starminx to the mass-produced lineup, I'd love to see a Pentultimate to complete the series of mass-produced face turning dodecahedra. Maybe a Master Pentultimate, too.
EDIT: And the Hexaminx. It's such a cool puzzle and it can't be THAT hard to produce.

All of those would be great, as long as they are not pillowed.
I'm also hoping for some more proportional cuboids.
And I'm hoping that an 8x8x8 actually makes it out too.
Also, how about some master octahedrons? Both vertex and face turning.

I still have my fingers crossed on the Astroabacus I preordered... Otherwise hexaminx and master pyraminx are way up there.

I don't see why the hexaminx hasn't been mass produced yet. Mixup cube too. Aaaaand pent prism. And non-reuleaux halpern-meir. It'd also be nice to see some cubies of various sizes produced but there's isn't nearly enough demand for that to happen. I know there are some on ebay but the ones I saw were pretty expensive and you only get like 2 or 3.

I would say : - Ghost Cube - 4x4x2, 4x4x3, 4x4x6, 5x5x3 and 3x4x5 cuboïds - Master Pyraminx - Icosahedron puzzle - V cube 8 to 11 - Void Petaminx - Master Pentultimate - Master Helicopter cube - Kilominx (not a flowerminx)
I gonna stop there, if this is mass-produced in 2012, I have time to think about the 2013 release!

Remember that to have a puzzle mass-produced, it is easier to modify something from an existing core rather than make a new one. As such, the only realistic ones are the Pentultimate, Master Pentultimate (possibly ball shape), Hexaminx, and maybe some cuboids. But one can dream, can't he? On my list is the Master Brilic and the Brilicube

I'd love to see a pentagonal prism - if not by one of the big companies maybe a limited run at an affordable price from someone like Smaz (hint hint nudge wink ) - it's been almost 30 years since it first appeared!! Also a master pyraminx but i really hope / think there will be one this year. ( I'm looking at you(ee!) How do you pronounce his first name? ) And also the re-release of the astrolobacus I'd also love to see either the Chilen cube or Bram's Brick (or both!) And Gus did you forget DP's Ice-9?? (I have this one and love it!)

We do need to see more cuboids next year, as well as at least one V-CUBE. I personally want to see more puzzles from Timur to be produced, specifically his series of Gear Tetrahedra, as well as puzzles from Eric, such as the Dreidle Skewb and Astrominx. And a Royal Pentultimate wouldn't be a bad choice either.

... I am just getting into cuboids so I second that! As someone who has only been collecting puzzles for a year now, I have to say that if next year is anything like this year, then we are guaranteed a rollercoaster ride! I cannot wait. P.S. Does anyone have any proven techniques for hiding the financial fallout that Obsessive Cube Dieting does to your wallet?

Peace on earth, good will toward all.... To loose the weight I gained when I quit smoking... To have that publisher actually put the darned book on the shelves.... A ever filling glass of wine.... Oh wait, you're talking puzzles aren't you? I want an idea for an exchange puzzle... I'm brainless and idealess. Oh, and more of the same. Twisty things. but symmetrical. I don't care for the odd shapeshifting stuff. That kind of scares me. Oh yeah, and more wine.... Happy New Year all! er. in 4 more hours. but I'll probably be out by then. And Damn you SmaZ for last minute calls. I promised a man a date...I'd so much rather be out with puzzlers playing with toys because as it stands, I don't think I'll make midnight.

A mass produced hexaminx would be excellent! Or else I'll have it handmade by someone, or 3d printed. It's a must have.

My wish list for this year? Hmm, let's see... there is only one thing that I could see that would make both my hearts beat faster.
Only one thing, among all the possible cuboids, such as the 3x5x7, or the cubes such as a 12x12x12, or the mods such as the 5 and 6 layer rhombic dodecahedron, only one thing that would top all, rising to heights that would dwarf all these worthy contenders. And that one puzzle of which I speak, that which I covet the most and hold up to the pinnacle of desire is none other then the: TARDI... awe, you already know.
