I have two interesting ideas which are looking for a puzzles builder.


This is the second one:

This puzzle should be build upon the Void Cube mechanism,

(It is quite straightforward to understand the concept from the pic's -)

What would this idea add to the puzzle?
The additional faces would have visible orientation. If the faces are pulled out or pushed in to far a 360°-twist can change that.
I did and found nothing.

In your link it says the sides can't be rotated for 180 degrees from the solved state. I suppose because the center moves in so far with just one 90° turn, that the first one touches already. Or at least before a second turn is done in the same direction.
THAT would be an awesome puzzle I think. However in your design it looks like one turn doesn't affect the center enough to make that happen. I am not sure but in that case Andreas concern about the difficulty is right.
Still a cool idea.
