Awesome! I cannot wait to see this puzzle finished. I presume for now you're just going to make the one, but it would be nice to see some Planet variations to match the former Bermuda series.

Quote: Thank you Burgo, that is almost same this Yes.. with your 1st one it is lined up with another face, but with this one no faces are lined up. I love the 2 new pics too, they will be perfect . I had another idea today too, for the Fisher's face: I might even make one of these with 3 faces `fishered` and the other's normal . Cheers, Burgo.

However this fishered face idea will only work to a certain point. The edgepieces on a normal Megaminx have some thickness at their "tips" still. It can be extended only as far as that thickness goes away, not further. So let's hope there is just enough to extend to the very corner. On a Hungarian Supernova for example, extending an edge to the corner after a 36° turn wouldn't work at all. Unless the whole geometrie is changed of course. But that would involve shortening the arms of the core at least. Unless it can all be sanded down far enough...

Traiphum, this puzzle is beautiful. Do you planning to sell it?
You must show it in New Puzzle.

So would this...bermuding be a new category in puzzles? Such as there is jumbling, fudging, boublzizing (probably spelled that wrong), etc. Could this be applied to deeper cut puzzles? I can see a lot coming from this new technique.

I am shocked this has not generated more posts. Look at it! And made by Dayan, so it will probably turn good as well! Why we would ignore this, I have no idea!

I can't make up my mind what I prefer, the straight or the curved cuts, they both look so good!
Traiphum's version looks harder.. the one with curved cuts is very close to having 2 adjacent faces as the finishing position, which is not as difficult. It probably needs a bit of R&D to get one hard enough, I think, just because of the extra space on the puzzle. They probably intend to make a planet series, but that probably means a lot of easy ones and only a few harder ones. We just have to wait and see for more information. I am watching with anticipation. I just hope they can make them hard enough to justify them. They'd want to be sure to add `something new` to the Bermuda cubes IMO.
Cheers, Burgo.
