Just ordered a white Copter from the Now Store. They still have both black and white if anyone else still needs one.

My Curvy Copter just got here and it is very good. Back in stock at meffert's so go buy one.

Easily worth the little money that I spent on it.

After a wile of playing with it I can say it is prtty good and would recommend to anyone.

And I achieved the Mezon state.

For someone unfamiliar with the puzzle, it looks like you can just give it a little twist to get it back to normal.

Does the Curvy Mezon require any extra steps (I think the original Mezon required you to remove the center caps)? It looks like it would be easier.

The mezon on the original did not need any caps removed, so I wouldn't think this one would either. However, as mine has not arrived yet, I don't know for sure.

I think the center pieces need to be removed and put back in new locations to do this. A normal helicopter cube has hidden centers so this isn't needed.

I'm nearly positive it did. I wasn't going to take my caps off to get it, but consider where all those center pieces are. They don't line up.

If you didn't care about solid colors the centers could stay on. What does the mezon pattern look like without swapping centers?

Aha, but you cheated by removing some center caps and replacing them.

This is the only regular pattern-like mezon you can make on a curvy copter

This is true, I did get the state I just wanted to see how long it would take someone to relize that I took the center caps of.

I finally got mine! And the turning is fantastic.

Solving it was mostly like the normal Helicopter Cube, and the centers give every piece a specific location (well, not same-coloured centers) which is interesting. It's a really great puzzle.
