The title says it all. Basically I'm deciding to make an evil twin 4x4x4 (extended fused 3x3x3,) and I'm asking whether some turns are restricted when the puzzle is scrambled (since the pieces are extended) Thanks!

Yes. The parts of one cube block moves on the other cube when scrambled. This isn't to worry- just solve one cube at a time. On the first cube solving, you can just move the overhang away and it won't affect the solve. On the second cube there should be no overhang bandaging.

Phew, Bandaged puzzles are too much for me. Good to know that I can just solve it like a normal fused cube. Again, thanks!

you also spelled the title wrong I don't personally have any experience with evil twins but as far as I know yes, there are restricted moves they shouldn't cause too many problems however

Come on, let's give Shark a break. He had a valid question and you all know what he meant.
-It's a name, let's let technicalities be. Look at my name and figure out what it means since I've been here awhile and can take some criticism -And how is the title spelled wrong? -"normal fused cubes" is how Shark worded it, so I'm sure Shark knows the difference between a normal cube and a normal fused cube.

It says Evin, not Evill. For some reason it just looks like Evill even though it isn't. Also fused cubes are not bandaged depending on how you look at them. To me they simply have stored cuts.

Luckily this isn't speedsolving forums, i'll get spammed replies 1. I made my youtube account sharkretriver in grade 4, and i spelled it wrong (cuz i sucked at spelling) but now i purposely spell it like that 2. Whoops, evil twin, what was I thinking 3. lol, a fused cube is bandaged, an evil twin is bandaged, yeah they're both bandaged. A normal cube is also bandaged, jk.

I wasn’t trying to be mean or anything. I was just pointing it out in case he didn’t know. Sorry if I offended you I was honestly trying to help.
