Who knows how many puzzles on earth has nintendo produced, besides the ten billion, the more rare trillion and the rarest crossover? I don't think the Trillion puzzle is Nintendo-related. It was under Ideal toys. Oh, and a couple other interesting things: Sterling Rubik's Cube - $510 but did not sell, unfortunately I wasn't able to meet the reserve. Deluxe Edition Rubik's Cube still sealed in dome, logo on red. $177.50. There were really only two bidders on this - a surprisingly good price considering they don't ship outside the U.S. Ben

life is so unfair. I got outbid on what I think was an original star puzzler a week ago or so. However it was in a wonderful puzzle box? I am not sure if it was just in the wrong box or not. I didn't have the money for it, but it went for cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 052wt_1139

A Tony Fisher original hand cast Golden Cube for a mere $305. Sandy was selling his (you probably saw it in the shop link) and unfortunately I could not afford more than $300. Some one got a *great* deal on this. I've had my eye on getting an original for a long time and already regret not having sold more Elementals so I could bid higher. Sigh. So tell us who it was? I doubt anyone not on the forum would be the buyer... Dave

An American style cardboard boxed TSUKUDA Original Rubik's Cube from the very beginning. It is incredible that I was not aware of this version till now. A great thank you to Hidetoshi for helping me get this one and to Jonathan for letting me have it! Attachment:

The only "old" Tsukuda Rubik's Cubes known to me were those in plastic containers (see below).

I think that the buyer is Twisty member. Now is bad time for selling of puzzles, especially so special and rare handmade puzzles as are modification of Tony Fisher. On other side the buyer is Lucky man. It is me. I was looking for the black Golden Cube with gold stickers from Tony Fisher almost 5 year. And now is my dream fulfilled. Thank you Sandy.

The first one has the Politoys logo on top of the box and the cube seems to have the thick orange stickers from what I see. Could you post a close-up picture of the main face? The second is from JIALIH, a Steel Mold Company in Taiwan. I have several examples of these. In the beginning they came in a cardboard box. Many more cubes came in different plastic container packagings.

The logo is nice, but the text is missing, so I wait for Olivér to post a scan/picture of the face with the logo. I'm not 100 % sure, but probably the text is: "XXI Всемирный фестиваль молодёжи и студентов * Москва * 1985 *", it was not part of the logo. Mostly added on souvenirs like this cube. The parts "валь", "молодё" and "жи и сту" are easily readable even on the current picture. Peedu

I managed to get all of these 80s vintage puzzles on ebay uk for £40 ($65 / €47): The only downside is that I have to collect them from Nottingham, which is about 170 miles away There are 17 puzzles, which are: Meffert's Pyraminx, Unknown, Unknown, Rubik's Globe (with stand), Rubik's Barrel (octagon), Rubik's Ball, Unknown, Rubik's Cube, Alexander's Star, Truncated Cube, Rubik's Cube, Rubik's Snake, Puzzle Pen (?), Orb-It, Unknown, Kibble Cube and Missing link. Some of these are duplicates for me, so after I have verified that they are vintage puzzles I will probably be selling/swapping them soon on the Marketplace.

I picked up an old Missing Link in cardboard box. I don't remember seeing one in this packaging before but the price was right ($10). I got the puzzle and it was pretty much new and turned incredibly well - so a win-win for me! I also picked up a block of 4 Rubik's Cube stamps, with a neat Rubik's Cube postmark for $10. I'll probably frame it when I receive it. A Rubik's Rabbits for 74 GBP ($120). I didn't pursue this very much because I already had one but it seems that this is the going rate for one of these. A really cool Deluxe Edition Missing Link for $75. I don't see these very often, especially with the box and "new". Unfortunately this one was too rough for me, but I'll be waiting for one in better shape to roll by. Ben Edited for grammar :S

I won a Bart Head on ebay! US $62.01 I've had the Homer Puzzle for several years, and I finally have the much rarer Bart Head to match! http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0656455981 It arrived scrambled, which is fine because I know how to solve it. I was very lucky as my Maximum bid was $63 (Shipping was $7 and I vowed not to pay more than $70 total). I believe that some person from Hong Kong wanted it badly, but stopped just shy of my maximum bid... Special thanks goes out to funmonkey54 for tipping me to this link!

Sealed Deluxe Edition Cube for $31.06. I use the bid history page to bid, and on my second bid, the "confirm bid" button failed on me... just a pretty blue square that does nothing. Could have had it for $32.06 as $31.06 was the high bidder's maximum bid. Well done if a TP member got it! Ben

I initially thought it was Sandy too but now i'm not so sure......Sandy's ebay id is "twistypuzzles" this seller's id was "twistypuzzle" - close but no cigar i think! I'm really mad about missing out on the NIB thomas ball this seller had (it sold for $26.23).... his auction ended at 5.55am for me and as those of you who know my ebay methods will know i usually only bid at the last second....well i fell asleep before it ended .....i'll have to try and figure out how to get one of those programs that bids automatically for you on ebay....(any help out there??)

Corrected. The similarity there is ridiculous.

Here are some i missed out on: 7 puzzles including a shrink wrapped sealed trillion puzzle for $40.07 - the seller wouldn't ship outside the US and worse still had blocked all questions (becoming a worryingly more common occurrence on ebay) A Zauberkreuz for $87.22 (i was the underbidder , one day Zauberkreuz, one day you will be mine )

Zzupler, every time I see you post your finds, it makes me want to go and stalk eBay UK for puzzles! I think you did wonderfully! These are my latest pickups, though not very recent: The Revo, sealed. $0.01. Though not rare at all in the UK, it's a pretty good deal not having to import this into the US. Missing Link Key Chain, sealed. $15.51. Unfortunately the original packaging is in fairly poor shape. Deluxe Edition Missing Link, sealed. $30.00. I happened to catch it being listed and hit the BIN in under 3 minutes! Ben

I do too but it's just a fluke Ben...seriously nothing to see on ebay UK, move along now please Ben wrote: Deluxe Edition Missing Link, sealed. $30.00. Now i know who it was!! Forgot to mention, that seller of the sealed trillion that wouldn't post outside the US also sold a sealed Entrapment for $19.95 BIN that i would have won had i been able to buy it but another member of the forum got it!
