I've been meaning to post something like this for a while. Maybe it should go into off topic, I never know with these things. I think this first one is pretty easy, so I won't even elaborate:
... Where did you get it? ... How long did you play it for? ... When was that? ... Tell me something about your band from the past. ... What happened to Jimmy on Jody? ...
etc.

1) I got it at the Five-and-Dime.
2) I played until my fingers bled.
3) In the summer of '69.
4) Our band tried real hard.
5) Jimmy quit, and Jody got married.

I have a similar puzzle: again, its a song in disguise. I think its fairly easy to work out:
" Not a soul understands what simile Sum the nasty guy Sum the cheerless chap Concealed azure eyes
Not a soul understands what simile Sum loathed Sum predestined Compulsive liar "

Wow, that was quick. Well done!
When on long road trips with friends and songs come on the radio. I tend to ask the songs questions, and somehow they answer them. It can be pretty funny for some reason. I thought it would be interesting to make it into a game.
How about this one:
And what would you do for love? ... But what won't you do? ... etc.
Here is another easy one: Where did Tommy work? ... Why doesn't he work there anymore? ... What about Gina's job? ... What does she say we have to hold on to? ... How far are we and what are we living on? ... etc.
Feel free to come up with your own.

I would do anything for love,
But I wouldn't do that.

Would you tell the truth or lie? I'm not familiar with the song, but I think this is it: In the year 3535 Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies. Was that right? Here's another one: What is her name, and where does she dance? -d

Who can't you defeat?
Why not?
But what can you do?
Why doesn't that work?
What do you try to do?
What do you end up having to face with?
What is your plan?

-d Yes that's right. Her name is Rio and she dances on the sand. New one: Which planet turns... Staying up when your tired.... #2 What's in the house? 10 seconds until destruction... Light a match...

So, so you think you can tell? Do you think you can tell? What did they get you to trade? And what did you exchange? What are we? What have you found? This is a very tricky one unless you have amazing taste in music (my taste lol ) Hint (Highlight): Album cover is a flaming man shaking hands with a businessman

One of the best all time songs ever! Basically just put in the words to "Wish you Were Here" by Pink Floyd. -d

Try to guess this one:
Who is he? Where is he sitting? What is he doing? For whom is he doing it?
What doesn't he have? What doesn't he know? Who is he a bit like?
Hint: This song was recorded in 1965 and released in 1966.
Skarabajo.
