no... penicillin causes such a headache I couldn't think but i wanted so badly to do some solving. I figured I might as well be resourceful.
A new accomplishment! I just started a new fad! Speed-sorting! It's addictive but unfortunately it's not going to get its own forum and everything.

rubikcollector123 wrote: i solved learnt to solve a 4x4x4...(solving it intuitively) Good Luck. In my opinion, the only way to solve it intuitively is Cage method (outsides first) because it makes parity of the edges so much easier to fix. However, do what you wish. You may stumble upon the solution. I sorted a deck in 56 seconds! Unfortunately, that's 1 second off of the official top records. (I started with the bubble sort and got about 5 minutes. Then I tried the Insertion sort and got 2 minutes. Then I thought "screw this" and threw the deck on the ground and subbed one minute.)

PB 6x6x6 single: 4:54.49 minutes. I suck at 6x6x6; I never practise. And this one is also half way through the PiMod, so there's nothing keeping the middle layer aligned.

Do you think this thread deserves the accomplishment for being the longest thread? As far as I know, it's the longest one, but I may be forgetting something.

Double-post. I just finished a game of Spider Solitaire in 2:49!!! I've trying nonstop basically for the whole winter break, and now, when I should be working on homework, I completed my goal!
I would consider Solitaire a puzzle, wouldn't you? Sorting a deck using certain rules and limitations is much like solving a puzzle, so why not?

I just solved my Elite Tetrahedron for the first time I hadn't even solved a Jing's pyraminx before! So I made up my own method for everything as I went along and it turned out to be quite a fun solving experience. I believe this is the first ever physical Elite Tetrahedron Solve! Chris Hemerich

Solved my VULCANO twice today. It's a fun puzzle; not too hard, not too easy. My favourite mass produced puzzle at the moment.

Figured out my Jade Pyraminx and my Trignis/Vulcano! They took about 30-40 minutes to work out in total, but the Trignis took longer than the Pyraminx. Alex

I can complete 28 out of 30 of my puzzles. I'm 3 edges away from solving my Latch cube. Still working on Master Skewb though. Congrats to those who have completed it. I assembled Golden cube without having memorized what it looks like or using any reference. Sub-30 average for 3x3x3 using block building method. Sub-40 average for 3x3x3 using Corners-First method. All my own solutions for all puzzles.

Solved my Professor Pyraminx finally.
I spent about an hour and a half on it yesterday, which reduced it to a jigs pyraminx, and as I don't own a Jings pyraminx, another hour trying to solve that and failed.
Picked it up again today and decided to try a Skewb ultimate solution to do the Jings Pyraminx part. This time I was successful!

Figured out a method for my Master Skewb! It took me a couple of days but I got it solved. My method isn't very fast, so I might look up some algorithms if I ever want to speedsolve it. I also figured out my 4x4x4 RD the other day, but that wasn't as hard to solve. Alex

Yay! Just solved the Helicopter Dodecahedron on Gelatin Brain! Most puzzles I can't solve on my own, but the Helicopter Dodecahedron is the perfect step up from the normal Helicopter Cube. The first time I solved it, it took 16 minutes and 555 moves. While I was waiting for this page to load, I did another solve in 9:18 minutes with 444 moves.

221 puzzles solved on the GelatinBrain Applet! Last 6 solves haven't been recorded yet, but I kept count . I'm now (unofficially ) in second place in the score rankings for the first time, I never reached higher than 3rd place before (now I just have to solve 174 and I am at a tied first place with schuma )

I got an official average of 5 in 22 seconds. Exact millisecond isn't up yet, but the fastest was 17.XX and the slowest was 28.XX with the three middle solves at 22.XX
I also got a PB 2x2x2 solve and average- 3.49 best, 5.69 average.
(I think I like my 2x2x2 better than the V-Cube one.)

I started speedsolving again 10 days ago, after almost two years, and got some of my fastest 3x3x3 solves ever. My previous record was a little over 22 seconds, but I had several 20 second solves this week, and one 16 second solve. The 16 second one was somewhat lucky though.
The first time I started speedsolving I did it for 4 or 5 months, but never had a good learning approach. So I quickly hit a plateau, and lost interest. But now I've been working on solving the cross faster (I use the Fridrich/CFOP method) and better ways to pair up and insert F2L pairs.

I got a 29-second average with the beginner's method. F2L really is everything.
