I think that users should be able to view another user's profile (or their own) by clicking on the person's name to the left of their post, instead of the profile button at the bottom. The profile button seems kind of counter-intuitive to me. After I first joined the forum, I couldn't figure out how to view someone's profile for a while, and I'm posting this now because I find myself time and time again trying to click on the user's name instead of the profile button. If clicking on the name doesn't work, then maybe the profile button could go directly under the user's name.

I never really found it a problem. I mean, it says "profile." Seriously though, I don't see a reason to change the current format. While there are plenty of forums out there that do it that way, there are plenty that do it this way, too. We just happen to be one of them. Besides, if we change things around, you'll have people like me who will spend weeks doing the same thing, looking for a profile button and not being able to find it. EDIT: This was my 1111th post.

I guess I never thought of that. Another possible solution would be to have it in both places. Also, if it's a short post, I have no problem, but I do have a problem when it's a long post.

All in all, it's not often most people have to look at others' profiles. It's not like there's much information there, and besides, most of the time all the buttons you need are right next to Profile

Don't give Sandy ANOTHER thing to do... The moderators do enough as it is, and I am very thankful for them. The profile button isn't THAT hard to find, but that is a good idea.
