This is a LEGO Technic Varikon Box 2x2x2 that I made using LEGO Technic pieces for the cage and some Zamor Spheres for the LEGO Mindstorms NXT 2.0 kit for the moving pieces. The puzzle works alright, but the balls always have a tendency to fall out. If someone could find a better design for it, that'd be great. The puzzle is pretty easy with the four-color color scheme, and it is a little more difficult with the three-color-color scheme. but it is still pretty easy. Anyways, here are the pics:

I think i prefer the four colour scheme, the three colour one looks a bit odd! (quick somebody, call the pun police we got a bad one here )

I think you do need something to keep the balls in place (oops only saw this one when i posted - sorry!!)....maybe wrap the box in cellophane??

Maybe, but the balls are being held in place by the gears, so they have to be pushed around. Maybe if I replaced the gears with full bushings.
