So I was thinking, What would be considered the rarest puzzle? Now im sure there is no defined puzzle, this is just your opinion.
My opinion is that I do not know very much about puzzles, collecting wise.
So tell me what you think!

I think 'rare' would have to be limited to mass-produced puzzles as there are a number of one-of-a-kind puzzles. With that said, I have absolutely no idea.

I'd also exclude promotional cubes. I'm sure that plenty of promo 3x3s for companies were produced in batches of less than 100.

I think a MP Trajber's Octahedron from the 80's. Georges is the only person I know of that owns one.

It can't be the Astrolabacus or Dino Star. We already know several TP members who have the Astrolabacus (some more than one), and I've seen the Dino Star for sale on an almost regular basis over the past two years. The Betcha Can't (in the original box) is a lot rarer. But I think the prize should go to... (drumroll) Olidjus puzzle. This is the only one I've ever seen for sale. In fact, if it wasn't for Jerry Slocum's "The Cube" book, I wouldn't have known this puzzle existed at all. This one is rarer than hen's teeth.

I am not sure how we're going to figure out which puzzle is the most rare. I know several people (beside Aleh and myself) who own Olidjus. On the other hand I don't have "Betcha Can't". Yet I do have an Astrolabacus (and maybe several of them). Yet I don't think many have a puzzle like Japanese Magnetic 2x2x2 Zodiac Ball, or a Japanese Cornerless Cube of which I have a sample. But our friends in Japan might have these too, and these puzzles are just lest known in other parts of the world...

Anyone know how rare this is (or isn't), I've had it for a while. Peter's Black Hole.

I'm no collector by any means, but how rare is a Rubiks cube signed by Erno?

I think the Jugo Flower is one of the rarest. I have seen two different variations of these puzzles and do´nt know how many exist.
