I was thinking, after seeing Steryne's post, where he says that it changes at 12:01 TP Time at the bottom in a comment, that TP Time should be displayed above or below our preferred time (or not at all if our preferred time is TP Time). This would help prevent confusion when referring to TP Time, because even the smartest of people screw up math sometimes.

Isn't that what UTC is for? I live on the US west coast but I communicate with so many people in so many different places that I keep everything in UTC including my watch, computer, car clock, alarm clock, etc. When we share logs, data, anything, the time is totally unambiguous.

In a world of global communication UTC is the only thing that makes sense.

I leave forum times alone. Why change them? I mean, I have a watch, the lower right hand corner of my computer screen has the time. By leaving it alone, I can easily tell the time of the people I am chatting with.

I can see no real need to add yet another task for Sandy to do when it is quite simple for us to look at a clock locally.
