I ordered my Jade pyraminx the other day, logged on to the Jade Club website and it still says I haven't payed?
I have a paypal receipt but no acknowledgement of the payment on jadeclub.org?

Thanks Robert

I believe what you're looking at means that you haven't payed for Jade Club VIP membership.

The C4U Gigaminx has a lower price ($49.99 + shipping), but you should read carefully the comments about it, before you go for the lower price.

No, I understand that, for sure. It's just these higher order puzzles are starting to break the bank. :? Esp. when for almost the same price I am weighing between if I should get the Gigaminx or spring for the Tuttminx. I struggle with decisions like this.

Ultimately it comes down to what you feel you'll use more (unless you really like the way a puzzle looks)

My dilemma was tuttminx or v7. I decided that I would rarely use the tuttminx because it takes ages to scramble, solve, sticker, and the color scheme makes it difficult to use in all but the brightest light.

EDIT: Unless, of course, you have the money to buy both.

Thanks Robert
Currently, we get no additional confirmation email from jadeclub.org, just the Paypal receipt.
Registered mail always included. We'll get a shipping notice later.
Uwe has told me that Cojomy (the Jade webmaster) will have a look at improving the Jade shop interface in the future.

Hi

Sorry if this is the wrong place for this but...

i ordered the mosaic cube as soon as they became available on mefferts site - i ordered with a bunch of other puzzles which arrived today but no mosaic cube, i got a slip of paper saying it will be shipped later.

So i'm just wondering....(1) why did they put them on the site if they weren't ready to ship and (2) has any one else gotten one yet, have they just run out?

My Mosaic Cube just shipped out on the 29th. I guess they were put on the site as a pre-order.

Thanks for the reply, good to know they are shipping out some of these puzzles now, hopefully not too much longer to wait to get my hands on one!

Does the scratch by any chance look similar like this?

I have got two Jade Pyraminx and they have both the same mark on the same centre. Probably, something caused at production? So, if your scratch looks similar, chances are, that all of them share it :)

FYI, that's not a scratch, it's called a "weld line", where the liquid plastic flows from two directions in the mold and comes together, but not quite perfectly. It's a very common defect that you can see in many other injection-moulded plastic parts, especially where the plastic has to flow around a hole and then join together on the opposite side. But don't worry, it won't harm the puzzle, nor it's value: in fact it could even prove that it's a genuine original!

Hi everyone, my first post here.
I joined the Jade Club too a short time ago and can't wait to get my Jade puzzles. I also placed an order via Jade for the Mosaic Cube. I hope it will ship soon!

I've got one on a different center.

EDIT: Why don't they have the golden tint to them as depicted in the picture of them on the Jade Club website? And why does "Merry Christmas from Meffert's" still pop up?

It's funny how Meffert's has already put the Easter Rabbits on the website and the Jade Club has the Merry Christmas pop-up.

I'm sure that it has to do with Chinese New Year, the year of the rabbit. :)

I got the same "It will be shipped later" message on the invoice in my box of cubes that came in on 2/03/11 . Did you get your mosaic cube yet Zzupler?

...I figured I'd go ahead and get both (Mosaic Cube and Prof Pyraminx). The thing is... the JadeClub has no shopping cart. I had to order both puzzles separately. I hope Uwe saves himself some money and at least ships them together.

I do see where pablobaluba is coming from. In this day and age I'd expect the JadeCube shop to be set up with a shopping cart and have a means to accept coupons/credit voucher codes. Don't get me wrong... I'm happy to be able to get these puzzles at this price and that the voucher was even offered but I'd still like to see these improvements added to the site eventually.
Just got my Mosaic Cube and Prof Pyraminx and sure enough they were shipped seperately. :( The JadeClub REALLY needs a shopping cart. There is no reason Uwe couldn't have saved himself some money and shipped these together. And yes my Mosaic Cube is way too tight such that it can't hold its shape. Off to find that thread... I know I've seen others talking about this issue.

Carl

I am a VIP member of the Jade club and have received a Jade pyraminx. On the website it says when you are a VIP you get access to a VIP only website. I don't know how to get to the website and would like to know.
