Hey everyone,

About a month or two ago I came up with this idea of doing a daily 3x3x3 average, and recording the average and the fastest time on the forum. I basically want this to be a community thing, and so by the end of the year you should have a clear understanding of how you've improved over the year. Since I am aiming for having a sub ten second average by the end of 2011, I think this will be a good way of keeping track on how I'm doing, and the same for you.

Just a few notes now: this is not the Accomplishments Thread. This is for doing a 3x3x3 average day in, day out, and even if you have a bad average, you still post it. For myself personally, I intend to produce a graph at the end of the year to show how I've improved. Also, if you want to participate, don't just do it once a month or something, try and do it everyday. Obviously people have holidays and times when they're not on the forum or cubing, but generally try and aim for everyday.

Also, if you beat your average and/or single in the day, don't repost. Just edit the previous post. The reason for why I'm posting this today instead of tommorow is because it's the last day of 2010, and by the last day of 2011, you will have results through out the entire year. Below I will show you my results for today, December 31st, 2010, and hopefully you'll do the same thing everyday of next year.

This doesn't just have to be for speedcubers! This can be for anyone who wants to improve on 3x3x3, and wants to see how the progress through out next year.

This is my first ever timed average actually. I never really solve for speed, just for amusement.

I would encourage many other forum members to get involved in this. I'm not going to do this every day like Luke does, and I think it would be interesting to see times from some of the more "elite" members who are more interested in modding and 3D printing, but never actually really speedsolve
