I finally solved the ultra-x. I used an algorithm I figured out to move around the 2x2 corners without affecting anything else. It was quite the challenge!

An almost awesome 3x3x3 average of 12: 13.66 seconds! Fastest time: 11.58 seconds Slowest time: 15.44 seconds Times: 12.47, 12.53, 13.84, 13.41, 13.13, 14.84, 13.63, 14.66, 15.44, 14.59, 13.53, 11.58 Cube: DaYan LinYun I'm quite annoyed with this actually. I was really hoping for every solve to be sub 15, but there always has to be one.

I conquered Tony Fisher's golden cube: 1. Within 24 hours of getting it 2. Without ever having solved or owned another 4 axis puzzle 3. Without looking on the internet for help 4. With only 1 algorithm that I invented The algorithm can switch centers, rotate corners, and rotate centers, but must be repeated up to 6 times. I salvaged it from a 4 step 3x3 algorithm and it work on 4 axis apparently And I only paid $35 dollars for the cube! Silver and mint condition, thanks Eric! I came very close to solving it 2 other times before I finally got it, but messed up in mid-algorithm due to excitement! I was up until about 2 in the morning, but never could get it yesterday, woke up today and played with it for 4 hours and finally got it!!! I might add it was a very lucky solve. I almost dropped the thing when I made the second to last turn So thank you Tony fisher, this is my favorite puzzle ever! It is more of a challenge in my opinion then a 7x7x7, but I can probably refine my time a lot. Now I need to buy a skewb!

I solved all the puzzles in my collection except the Terrorminx (which isn't in my collection anymore). And that includes all the possible types of siamese fused etc... as well as all my custom puzzles from my shop, as well as mass produced ones like sq-1 or sq-2 or Teraminx. I got 3 sub-1 minute solves on the 3x3x3 at 59.8, 57.1, and 55.1 (not in a row, but in that order) with an unlubed Rubik's Brand cube using a modified beginner's method (intuitive F2L, and flipping the cube over on the last step). For the 55.1 second solve I got to skip two steps . Now for a sub-55 second solve!

PB Square-1 single solve: 14.75 seconds!
I probably shouldn't count it because it was so easy. It was like four moves (ignoring slices) to a cube shape, in which all corners and edges were on the right layer, and a J-Perm on the top side. After that, it was just a matter of switching the two layers, and fixing the middle bar. What was funny was that it was a proper scramble. I could imagine someone like Simon Crawford being able to do that in under five seconds.

I had enough of seeing other people have sub 4 or so Pyraminx Crystal times, and so I decided to lube mine thirty minutes ago and do a few solves. On my third solve, I got a new PB (well, the other two I did too, but this beat them by almost a minute). 3:21.46 minutes!

PB Pyraminx Crystal average of five: 2:57.65 minutes! Fastest time: 2:50.05 minutes. Slowest time: 3:19.53 minutes. Times: 3:19.53, 2:55.36, 2:50.05, 2:55.27, 3:02.33 I reckon with another average of five all of the solves could be under three minutes.

I found a better algorithm for swapping opposite edges on OLL (M2 U M2 U2 M2 U M2, instead of R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U R2 U2 R2 U2 R2 U' ); I'm also on my way to learning 3 look LL. I have also been getting more sub-30 averages.

So, how fast can you get with 3 look ll (along with intuitive f2l and 2 look OLL)?

So, how fast can you get with 3 look ll (along with intuitive f2l and 2 look OLL)? My best with 3-Look LL as you described is 18 something. That was a Rubik's Brand so I'm sure you can do faster.

Just so you know I pulled 19 seconds a few times and 29 second averages using only 4 look ll... And yes, all I have is a rubik's brand. I'm sure if i get an A V though I'll get plenty faster.

So, how fast can you get with 3 look ll (along with intuitive f2l and 2 look OLL)? If you look at my signature you can see my fastest average of five is 11.70 seconds, with three look OLL. My former best average of five was 11.93 seconds, and at that point I didn't even know full PLL! I still had the N-Perms to go.

After a few hours of tinkering with it, I solved my helicopter cube, jumbling and non jumbling. And after a few months of tinkering, I finally solved my latch cube! I hadn't had time during the school year to sit down and figure it out, but last night at three in the morning I finally got it!

I solved the Latch Cube today, and I also received it today! It took a couple of hours to get my head around it, but the solve itself was around fifteen - twenty minutes. I used a Fridrich based method for the F2L, and the beginner's method for the last layer. I also solved a Rubik's Magic.

I solved my heli cube jumbling. I read somewhere it's supposed to take 40 algorithms, but I'm not sure. For me, it was only 1 algorithm more than the regular heli cube, and one of those two algorithms is the same two moves three times over!

PB Latch Cube solve: seven or eight minutes! (I didn't time myself! ) After I played with it for a little bit, I realized it's not a hard puzzle at all, just a bit irritating. I would prefer a design which either you can turn the side any direction, or not at all, becuase doing three turns just to do the equivalent of one is a bit tedious.

Teraminx= Solved my teraminx for the first time. It took around 3 hrs 36 min. spread over 2 days. I have to say that it might be one of my favorite puzzles. A little tedious at times but over all a lot of fun.

I just "solved" a shuffled deck of cards into suits/numbers in 58 seconds. Believe me, this is quite a feat!
