My asymmetrical patterns. Are assembled on two or three sides of a cube. To look at them it is necessary from one point. A pattern "a cube + orange square": A pattern "a cube 3D": A pattern "WCA" and Original emblem: Card “♠♥ ♦ ♣â€: A pattern "ENJOY !": And it is simple for an example. The house from a fisher-cube - 3 slopes of a roof, pipe and 4 windows:

Some more patterns. All are assembled with the help of algorithms. A pattern "strips": A pattern "With love ♥" on two cubes. Heart is looked interestingly: A pattern "ESSENCE": Mathematical pattern "П=3.14159" on two cubes. On a cube 5х5х5 has collected seven symbols ( ): The fans to collect original patterns on the large cubes, join! It would be desirable to find the adherents.

Chess figures: Rook, Bishop, King. Chess figures: Queen, Pawn, Knight. All chess figures (inversion): A pattern "SPEEDCUBING": A pattern "YOU WINNER": Symbolicalally on the black side of a cube 7Ñ…7Ñ…7 the mark of the goddess of a victory of Victoria - "V" is looked.

You are amazing! some day soon, I'll get more into this. for now, I am just making simple patterns up, then solving the puzzle into that state. You have single algorithms that get you these states right? I would be interested in the snake on the megaminx although I might not be able to read and understand the alg I am not so good with notation of that puzzle.

As is known, on odd cubes to collect a pattern "a chess cube" it is rather easy from the assembled condition with the help of turns of external and internal layers on 180 degrees in axes x, y, z. And on any even cube (4х4х4, 6х6х6 and т. д.) the chess pattern is going to always without 4 corners: Somebody tried to collect such pattern on a cube 4х4х4? Actually it not so is simple, as it seems at first. P. S. Who has cube 6х6х6, try from the assembled condition to collect on him a similar chess pattern without 4 corners. A task not from simple!

Probably some of you might already know this website but, I thought I could share it for the ones who don't. I found it when I was googling for patterns for my cubes. It has hundreds of patterns from 2x2 cubes to 7x7. And every pattern has a small window app that can show step by step how to do it. You can also rotate the cube inside the window and even rotate it in 3D (if you click outside of the cube while still inside the app window. Pretty cool

Thanks for posting this! I know about this website. But there simple and symmetric patterns are shown. And I try to solve the patterns, which are unique and are asymmetrical. To repeat them it is possible only looking on the ready sketch and well knowing a level-by-level method of solve of cubes.

i made it up today not sure how i did it but i like it alot it makes me think of a knot because the colors intertwine kinda...so i call it the knot pattern =D
if someone already made this up, how did u do it and what do u call it? Hi greeneye, You can build a knot pattern like this: MU' D (F2 MB2) D' MU (6 btm) It would be great if pvtlivyi_1, boublez and leonid could post their algorithms as well.

2 interesting patterns. A Ring on Pyraminx Crystal: 3 identical patterns on cuboid 3Ñ…3Ñ…4, cube 3Ñ…3Ñ…3 and Fisher-cube: For a cube ( F - green, U - white): M2 F2 M2 B2 R2 S2 R2 (L R F B) *3 E2 , for other 2 puzzles it is much more difficult.

So these are some patterns that can be made from a solved state and then unpatterened to a regular solved state. 4 dots with checkerboard on top and bottom: 4 crosses: This is a bit of a conceptual pattern, there are two H's opposite each other, two dots opposite each other, and two crosses opposite each other. The cool thing is if you try to checkerboard the cube, it comes out as the exact same pattern: 2 dots opposite each other:

If the first one requires jumbling, I'm pretty sure the second one does to, as it's the same moves applied to another side.

Also, I like my pumpkin pattern quite a lot: Attachment:

Though it doesn't show, the same pattern is applied to every face. Really simple to do, but the outcome can be fun
