I picked this up at a MicroCenter nearby. It is the cousin or brother or some close relative of Gordian's Knot. I think it is neat and figured I would share it!

Many puzzles are based on this, and there are some which require an INSANE amount of time
and moves to be solved. Surely a puzzle to have when stranded on a small island! :)

By the way, is this one similar to the classic one (besides the looks) or is there another twist?

:)

It's similar in that you need to make 1000 moves before you can take it apart, it's different in that it's not the same moves

Not very helpful am I? 8-)

This is a nice plastic mass-produced version of Ronald Kint-Bruynseels' 2003 design he called "ZeeZee ZedZed"

See it on Ishino's site:

Do you know what the difficulty of this puzzle is to memorize compared to the difficulty of Gordian's Knot?

This is the second puzzle in the series which started with the Gordian Knot, which, to everyone's surprise, sold fairly well. They're still unsure whether they'll release a third puzzle in the series, but I designed Bram's Knot as a suggestion in case they decide to do one.

I kinda want it, but after what happened with the Gordian's Knot, I'm not too sure. I still have the burns...
