Atleast it has the checkerboard pattern on the pieces. Otherwise it would be almost impossible :lol:

I think, like the Soma Cube, it gets IMPOSSIBLY DIFFICULT when you add the checker-boarded pieces.

no, checker-boarded pieces don't add difficulty.

It's just very hard to build the cube. Then just exchange pieces to get the checkerboard pattern.

Checker-boarding actually makes it easier, because it reduces the number of possibilities. The main thing making this puzzle hard is that it's in a 5x5x5, which for a packing puzzle is huge. I prefer puzzles which are a bit more reasonable, like this one -
