Is this a sticker mod or is the puzzle mechanicaly different?

It appears to be the same as the one he made previously, which is avaliable from his website, but instead extended into a cube.

But wouldn't the sides need to rotate by 180 degrees for the top and bottom to be able to rotate?

I don't get it - how is this different from a normal 3x3x3, if the circle bits can't be mixed within the cubic frame?

Maybe this is a 3x3x5? Each circle might be able to rotate on its own.

Now I see, thanks - it's essentially a bandaged 3x3x3, where certain moves are blocked.

Actually a cool idea.

A cool mod would be to hide the circle pieces within the puzzle. Nightmare Cube 2

that is a pretty cool puzzle. if you extend those circular pieces you could have a cuboid 3x3x5

I think it's more like a crazy 3x3x3 then a 3x3x5.

I finally got around to modding one of these into a proportional 3x3x5.

Not original, but I finally have a 3x3x5 I'm happy with. (Still need to do a bit of apoxie sculpt filling, though.)
