Who would be offended by a small ad on the bottom of the sidebar or the bottom of the page? I know it wouldn't bother me and would help Sandy at least a little bit.

I wouldn't really mind but we need to keep in mind is that Sandy is trying to run a shop on this website. I don't think that having ads on a shop website is a good idea, is it?

I've never seen a shop that showed Google ads either (Google ads or something similar was what I was assuming, actually). Having ads on a shop just seems unprofessional, I don't think it would help Sandy in his "dream" of making the shop into a full time business.

I've thought about this one a lot over the years. Ad revenue would probably cover the $600 yearly hosting bill...

If I ever decided to include advertisements, they would probably be Google ads, and only appear in the forum part of the site.
