When hunting around, I found these two puzzles. I have never seen them before so I thought I would post some photos of them here and ask if anyone knew anything about them besides the obvious.







Photos were taken this morning at my desk with a phone so they aren't the best. Basically, they are a Tsukuda's square but with a 3x3 grid rather than a 4x4 grid. They work exactly the same way. Made in 1982. Both came with the original packing, but for some reason that photo wasn't on my camera card-I guess I don't know how to use the equipment.

Where on earth did you find these?! My aunt lives in Tokyo and I thought she could find it.

There is NO WAY I'm telling. I may find another some day. From the packaging though, there are only these two designs. I will say they were incredibly inexpensive. I think the good Dr. said it was like taking candy from the bug.

I picked up a few other nifty puzzles that I will try to find time to post later this week, but I am so busy the next few days, I really don't know when I'll get the time.

Awww man. Still I thought it was re-mass produced from the looks of the topic LOL

I listed it as New beccause I had never seen them anywhere before. I spent a few hours over the past few weeks looking for them and no luck. Sorry for the confusion.

OK, home again and I pulled out the camera and snapped some photos of the packaging along with a comparison next to the Tsukuda's square we are more used to seeing.
