Rubik's cube pepper grinder.

Thinkgeek.com

It seems the codes arent working right now...

I really love one line from it. "The action of grinding the pepper or salt has the same feel and sound as the classic Rubik's cube puzzle."

There was a Rubik's cube in My Name Is Earl. It was on E4 on Thursday in England. Darnell solved it as a baby. We didn't see him solve it, but it was solved. Dunno if this has been mentioned. I'm tired and too lazy to look through the rest of thread.

Not quite Rubik's, but a puzzle nonetheless.

Star Trek Voyager - Season 5 Episode 20: Think Tank

There's a megaminx sorta looking object. It's a puzzle that only 7 of 9 can solve (by cheating though!). It's shown throughout the episode - which funny enough, is about 'solving' puzzles in a way. Also stars Jason Alexander hahaha!

Not sure if this has already been posted but one of the characters in the game Zeno Clash has a Rubik's Cube type puzzle.

On 'Friday Night With Jonathan Ross' BBC1 UK TV he joked around with one of those Rubik's Cube salt cellars. Sorry about the quality.

I found this sliding puzzle on the wall of the hallway leading to the Wii-Lounge "Play" in Berlin.

Season Finale of Numb3rs... Charlie Epps mentions Bill Cutler. They had evidence that resembled a Burr puzzle and Charlie quoted Bill Cutler.

This is a picture one of my friends took while they were in France. The reason she took the photo was because it was another friend's initials. I have no idea what TP actually stands for, but I immediately thought of the forum when I saw it.

MindStrat Puzzle, Krystalledron, Cubedron etc, were mentioned in Straits Times (the biggest paper in Singapore)
among the ten best reasons to visit the 2009 Singapore Book Fair. NY Times, you are next!!! LOL
(my description as "one of the greatest mathematical puzzle-solvers and collectors in the world" to the reporters
by my friend was a very huge compliment - thanks Siva, not sure I deserve that!)

Don't know if it's been mentioned or not, but in The Santa Clause (That Tim Allen movie) he calls himself a ''Rubik's cube with pants.''

As a mathematician I'm not very happy with this book. It's for little children, showing them different two-dimensional shapes. The Rubik's Cube is listed as a square. Hm.

In the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Series Episode "The Replacement" from season 5. When the childish Xander comes into Anya's apartment there is a rubiks cube next to the phone. you see it twice. Once coming in and the other when he picks up the phone. I was so excited I found a cube!

Two for one:

The latest AARP newsletter has a Rubik's CUBE on the front cover.

In the movie Spy Hard, Leslie Nielsen dumps out a spy's purse and there is a keychain Rubik's CUBE among the clutter.

If I take a cube to work, will this count among the cubes in newspapers?
