Hi there all,

I have got this puzzle on my web site (http://www.puzzle-boxes.co.uk) and only have the name 'Folding Thing' as it's title.  I bought it back in 1980'ish.  It doesn't have a mechanism, as such, but is hinged in a clever way similar to the 'Shinsei Miracle' and 'Shinsei Twin Comets'.  If anyone has a proper name for this puzzle I would be grateful to hear of it.

Another thought has occured to me whilst sitting here taking pictures of it.  Is Fisher's Container actually a 'Rubiks Type' puzzle or a 'Shinsei type' puzzle.  Just a thought - but I keep looking at the pictures of the Container and can't make my mind up which it is.

I think the puzzle is called Geoloop. Are you selling any of your puzzles at all. Because I would love to buy from you. The to puzzles are MAGIC OCTAHEDRON and OCTAGON/CUBE witch looks like a hexagon. I thought I e-mailed you about buying them. Sorry!

Thanks for the name. Sounds good - I shall change the site this weekend. Sorry, but I am not selling any puzzles - although I do have a spare rubiks clock, nintendo tenbillion and whip-it to swap if anyone has got anything I have not got yet.

I have a folding puzzle of about the same age that is very similar to yours except that the colors are purple, hot pink, and orange. It has writing on it that says "Yoshimoto". This is one of my favorite objects. They seem to be quite hard to find. Arabesk currently sells one that has silvery and gold panels.

I had wondered whether the puzzle was made by Naoki Yoshimoto because the Shinsei Miracle (gold and silver puzzle) and the Shinsei Twin Comets were his work. The only difference with the Red, Yellow and Blue puzzle is that there is no name, yet both the others proudly display Yoshimoto on the packaging and on the puzzles themselves. I may well put him as the maker on my pages because the dimensions are identical on all three puzzles and the original concept definately seems to have been him.

I have this puzzle. It has "Kaleido puzzle" name on the box. "Kaleido" is an abbreviation from "Kaleidocycle". I think, you have the book "Kaleidocycles".
