But if other collectors want a packaged octahedron, I am always willing to consider a trade. I am particularly interested in getting a boxed dino cube, Aleh's 2x2x2 circle cube, pyracosaminx, Super-X, Rex cube (I know that several of these are worth more than an octahedron, but I could include more puzzles/money to make up for that).

Yesterday I received my 1981 sealed tomy pyraminx form nicky_uk. It is in amazing condition! Absolutely perfect.
Now I´m just waiting for my wonderful puzzler 3x3. I´m really getting more and more into collectors items. probably because I now have pretty much all standard puzzles, and do new solves on Gelatinbrain, so only these collectors items are left! Although I do still want the FTO, Alexanders Star and the new Meffert Mastermorphix once it is out.

I got the camera going. Plus today my mefferts skewb eggs arrived! I really love the feel of the eggs! They are a lot easier to solve than the golden cubes though.

A random picture I had no place else to share: a sunrise in Malibu a couple weeks ago.

Danny, tell me, does the Golden Eggs have the flaws commonly present in the plated Golden Cubes?
(like those unplated parts on the edges, or bubles in the plating)

Thank you. I was actually really disappointed with that picture at first because it looked horrible on the camera screen. I had completely forgotten about it until I uploaded the puzzle pictures today and saw how beautiful is turned out!

Unfortunately, there is quite a bit of this. It is all on the inside though. Some of it does show up when scrambled.

I received my SmaZ Dino yesterday, which I purchased through katsmom (Thanks!) Without having played with an original Dino Cube, I cannot compare the two, however I am extremely happy with this puzzle, the quality is amazing.

I can't wait to see which ways this hurts my brain to solve. Assuming i can solve it with limited skewb solving experience (i.e. i've played with one twice, solved it once). This'll be interesting.

Because I already have some experience with Tony's Hexaminx, it was not so extremely confusing for me...
But there are differences: The Hexaminx consists of unique pieces (regarding shape and colour), the Pyramid Scheme
does not. This might lead to parity issues (so far I hadn't, but might be a lucky solve).

This puzzle is very very nice. The casting is great... The stickers are perfect... And it turns like butter!

I think I did manage to solve it. I had everything but one center twisted 180. I dont know if it is even possible. One of the centers fell off when I was solving it.

I thought I put it on correctly though.

That center turned 180 is a part of the supercube. I just solve it by doing 3 sunes in a row. There is a much quicker way out there but I never bothered to learn, and since the Sune is a natural part of my OLL, I just adopted that.
