Having auctions on Twistypuzzles.com would be great, like if you wanted the puzzle you are selling to go to a forum member. People said they wanted a section on ebay for twisty puzzle mods, well what about a auctions on this site?

Don't we kinda do that already?

Lots of things sell here in the Marketplace without the use of eBay.

That would be quite impossible. The idea of auctions isn't new so they only thing they could possibly patent is their code. But given you can't even get hold of that you're perfectly fine to make your own. Given that you come up with your own name and layout. If you called your site eBuy you might get into trouble but otherwise you will be fine.

It's already on the longer-than-is-strictly-healthy-for-me To Do list. It'll probably be three or four months until I get around to seriously looking at it since there are some other rather big site developments underway already.

Please keep the ideas coming!

Sandy
