Just as a matter of interest I have three versions of the Popeye Cube - as described below.

Version 1

56mm edge length. Vinyl stickers. Orange stickers (Wimpy) are fluorescent, as on original Rubik Cubes.
Text in yellow 'flash' on front face reads BY BUD SAGENDORF
Along the top edge of the two top white stickers on the front face the text KING FEATURES SYNDICATE USA appears.

Version 2

All as version 1 except 50mm edge length and no text to top edge of white stickers on front face. Otherwise everything else is exactly the same, same stickers, pictures etc.

Version 3

56mm edge length. Laminated paper stickers. Orange stickers (Wimpy) are also just standard laminated paper. The pictures on the stickers are similar to the other versions but are poor quality printing.
Text in yellow 'flash' on front face reads BY RID SAGNDORF
No ref obviously to King Features Syndicate USA.

This may be of interest to some.

Anthony

This is what I have to add:

Version 1 is the Tsukuda version (with the correctly spelled name of Bud Sagendorf),
whereas version 3 with the misspelled name Rid Sagndorf is from ITC (shame on them!)

Forgot I'd written that. Long time ago now.

Thanks for your info though, great.

Version 3 from Ideal is a very good cube however, my best 2x2x2 by far, and the package reads King Features Syndicate.

Both packages on my picture (Japan and USA) read King Features Syndicate USA.
I guess Anthony didn't have them in the original container. Did you Anthony?

I don't see a picture, just the word "image." Do you have a URL for the picture?

I have the first type (Tsukuda) in a sealed container (more than one if someone is interested). It's exactly as described above. The stickers on mine are slightly bubbled inside the container though.
